For obvious reasons, he will be on the media and in most cases, on the right side of things. The latest to praise the classy Indian skipper is England’s all-time legendary player Michael Vaughan.

The Englishman believes that there is no cricketer, who is better than Virat Kohli in terms of consistency and dealing the pressure. He termed Virat Kohli a step higher than Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara and Ricky Ponting as well.

Virat Kohli has high skill-levels – Michael Vaughan

Vaughan feels that Indian skipper has got an incredible mindset and high skill levels. He quoted that Virat Kohli has done exceptionally well in dealing the pressure and knocking the runs on a consistent basis.

“I have not seen a better player (than Kohli). I’m not disrespecting Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara or Ricky Ponting but across three formats of the game I have not seen anyone better,” Vaughan was quoted by Fox Sports as saying.

“He has such high skill levels and an incredible mentality when it comes to dealing with the pressure of the chase. All that while dealing with a weight of expectation and adulation that only Sachin would have experienced,” he added.

Well, as Michael Vaughan said, the numbers on the paper also cites that Virat Kohli has been brilliant than the rest of the players in the world. He is making the habit of breaking some astonishing records in his glorious phase of cricketing career.

Recently, he joined the Elite set of players by knocking 10,000 ODI runs. The record saw Virat Kohli smashing Tendulkar’s 17-year-old record. In total, he got 38 centuries in the 50-over format, just 11 short of Tendulkar’s 49.
