Practice makes a man perfect, this is what Pandya did after getting thrashed in the first match. It wasn’t an ideal start for Krunal Pandya as he was taken to cleaners in the first match by Glenn Maxwell. The southpaw spinner had conceded 55 runs in the series opener and he was under pressure. Thus, the tweaker went on to practice and made a roaring comeback.

Pandya scalped four wickets in the final T20I to put India’s noses in front. Therefore, the Indian all-rounder was adjudged the Man of the match for his crucial spell. Pandya bowled wicket to wicket to trap D’Arcy Short and Ben McDermott in front of the wickets. The off-spinner was able to hit the straps in the final T20I in the final match.

Solid comeback from Krunal Pandya.

Krunal Pandya said while talking in the post-match presentation, “Feels great to contribute to a win. Was preparing myself after that first game where I went for runs. All the wickets were my favourite because I wasn’t getting any wickets and they were hammering me in the first game. The best part of our team is that they back each and every player”.

Meanwhile, Krunal Pandya had bowled with guile in the second match where he had taken one wicket and conceded only 25 runs. He had also bowled a ripper to get the better off of Glenn Maxwell, who had taken him to cleaners at the Gabba.

It was a good comeback from Krunal Pandya who had leaked runs in the first match. Therefore, it must have done him a world of good while bowling in the Australian conditions. The southpaw all-rounder had also done well in the T20I series against the Windies.

Thus, it has been a good start for the senior Pandya. Subsequently, he will like to continue in a similar fashion. India and Australia will now lock horns in a four-match Test series with first Test match to be played at Adelaide from December 6.
