Of late, the words like workload, hectic schedule, injuries, call-ups, debuts are marking the headlines more often than not in the Indian Cricket. With the increase in workload, players are falling apart with the injury vows thus being out for the team at crucial moments. However, thankfully, Ishant Sharma recovered successfully in the time ahead of the overseas tour, especially the forthcoming Australia tour.

The lanky fast bowler sustained an injury on India’s tour of England, 2018. Later, it made him take a back step for the series against Windies. However, his rest helped Umesh Yadav to get the nod in playing XI and also showed his worth to the world.

As far as his performances are concerned, he has improved his ability exceptionally and delivering the goods on a regular basis. Ishant alongside Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar has become the most lethal bowling unit for the team India.
