After the scintillating game at Adelaide, yet another intriguing Test match is on its way at WACA in Perth. With the green top on offer for the second Test, both the sides; Australia-India would like to take the field while banking on their fast bowlers. Meanwhile, Gautam Gambhir believes that the match at Perth is going to be an exciting contest.

India has got Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah and Ishant Sharma in their ranks while Australia got Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood in their dugout. As always, toss would play a vital role in the impending Test match.

India will be confident side – Gautam Gambhir

The stylish southpaw Gambhir maintained that Indian team would be pretty confident, as they are already 1-0 up in the series.

Further, he believes that Australia would be wary of the Indian side, who got decent players in their ranks.

Similarly, he also highlighted the fact that the best bowling unit will be the one to be on top of the game. During the course, he feels that it would be the stern Test for the batsmen to score runs on such a difficult pitch.

“I think it’s going to be a good contest. India will obviously have a lot of confidence going into the Perth test match because it is 1-0 advantage India. Australia will always be wary as Indians can come strong. If India does well, the series is obviously gone. I’m sure it’s going to be an exciting test match,” Gambhir said.

“The wicket is going to suit the fast bowlers, so whoever can bowl well and put the runs on the board will be the one to dominate the test match,” he added in a recent interview during the build-up for ICC World Cup 2019.

Well, as Gambhir said, it will be an exciting contest at Perth. Both the sides have got required elements in their side to come good in the upcoming game.

Certainly, the lively pitch at Perth would add spice to it.
