India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was the star as he scalped six wickets in the first innings of Australia. Bumrah gave only 33 runs in his spell and bowled with fire. Marcus Harris was the first wicket of Jasprit Bumrah when the pacer bowled a well-directed bouncer to get rid of Australian opener.

Bumrah gave another jolt to Australia just before the Lunch break. The fast bowler fooled Shaun Marsh by a slower yorker to plumb him in front of the wickets on the last ball of the morning session. Subsequently, Jasprit Bumrah was quick to remove Travis Head as he cleaned up with a fine inswinger, after the Lunch break.
