How boring aspect it has become to hear Virat Kohli breaking a certain cricket record? However, this lad isn’t going to stop though. He is likely to add yet another feather to his already-illustrious-hat in the upcoming Test series against Australia. And, once again, it is the record of Sachin Tendulkar and Suni Gavaskar, which are in danger.

Of late, Virat Kohli is breaking records almost in every game that he features for team India. However, this time, it would be special, as it is coming against his favourite opposition and also, the place, which is one of the defining moments of his career.

Okay, coming to the topic, Virat Kohli is all set to break the record of Sachin Tendulkar, who had scored six centuries against Australia in Australia. The team India skipper has already scored five centuries and one more century, he is going to equal Sachin’s record.

Mathematically, Virat Kohli has got eight more innings to break the record of Sachin Tendulkar. And by going his form, it is expected that the run-machine of India would knock it out with ease.

Meanwhile, Sachin Tendulkar scored six centuries in his 20 innings in Australia, whereas, Virat Kohli scored five centuries in just eight innings. He already equalled Sunil Gavaskar, who also got equal centuries in 11 matches.

The God of cricket enjoyed quite a success against Australia in Australia, where he accumulated 1809 runs in 20 innings at an incredible average of 53.20. Meanwhile, Virat is carrying an astonishing average of 62.00 in just eight innings with 992 runs.

And the next best in the list VVS Laxman, who got four centuries to his name while Mohinder Amarnath got a couple. All in all, it would be interesting to see how Virat Kohli would tackle Australia bowling attack in the series.
