Adam Zampa was able to get the better off India’s deputy Rohit Sharma with a fine slider. The leg-spinner was brought into action in the seventh over. The leggie bowled four dot balls on the trot which added pressure on Rohit Sharma. Thus, India’s vice-captain was looking for a single on the fifth ball. In fact, Zampa first over was a maiden as he gave a perfect opening to Australia.

India had got off to a blistering start as Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma was able to hit the ground running. Meanwhile, Zampa was the pick of the bowlers in the first T20I. The leg-spinner had scalped two wickets and gave away only 22 runs in the series opener.

Meanwhile, India was able to win the final T20I by six wickets after losing the first match by four runs. The second match was abandoned due to rain and thus the series ended in a stalemate.

On the other hand, Rohit Sharma was looking at his absolute best and it was a crucial wicket for the hosts. Shikhar Dhawan had given a brisk start as the southpaw opener scored 41 off just 22 balls.

India was in some sort of a bother when they lost two quick wickets to find themselves at 108-4. However, Virat Kohli and Dinesh Karthik were able to take the team over the line. Kohli was at his best as he scored 61 runs off just 41 balls. The Indian captain was supported by Dinesh Karthik who scored 22 off just 18 balls.
