Cricketer turned commentator Isa Guha seemed fascinated with the pace Jasprit Bumrah generated at the practice sessions ahead of the first Test at the Adelaide Oval from December 6.

Meanwhile, the rivalry will resume when Australia and India when they clash in the four-match Test series. India is yet to win a Test series in their previous 11 tours to this country. However, many former greats have tipped India as the favourites this time around against a weak Aussie side. The hosts will be without their two crucial players in the form of Steven Smith and David Warner due to bans.

Meanwhile, India gave rest to their players three days prior to their first Test at Adelaide. However, few cricketers decided to train with head coach Ravi Shastri to gear up for the opening tie. In a bid to do so, the pacer racked up some good pace at the nets giving a hard time to their pacers.

Especially Jasprit Bumrah was at it his best notching up some good pace at the Adelaide Oval. He terrorised the batters with some good bouncers directed at a good pace. Cheteshwar Pujara was at the receiving end of one as he had to duck one bouncer from Bumrah to avoid the injury.

Impressed with Bumrah’s pace, Isa Guha shared high praise for the young pacer. She also seemed excited to see Bumrah generating so much from such a short run-up.

Fascinated by how much pace @Jaspritbumrah93 generates off such a short run-up. Incredible snap. Dangerous bouncer! #INDvAUS,” the post read.

Jasprit Bumrah made his Test debut earlier this year against South Africa and grabbed eyeballs with his impeccable pace. So far, in the six Test he has bagged 28 wickets and will be a key component for India against Australia.
