However, now, he changed his opinion and asked him to take his bow for a thrilling Test win at Perth. He showered words of praise on Australian unit for their solid effort.

Tim Paine led the team to perfection on Perth soil. He accepted the gamble to take batting on a Greenish wicket and then used his bowlers well to get the result. He was equally good when Virat Kohli was continuously troubling him with words.

And also, Shane Warne went on to laud the effort of Nathan Lyon and Usman Khawaja, who delivered when it mattered the most. He also highlighted the stunning century partnership between Aaron Finch and Marcus Harris on Day 1 of the Test match.

Digging into his tweet, it read ”Congrats to Aust & both teams for a terrific test series so far – well done. Loved it all. That’s the best test win for Aust in a long time. Tim Paine take a bow – we now have a test captain! Lyon & Khawaja outstanding. Finch & Harris 0/100 on day 1 was the difference.”

Well, as Shane Warne said, Tim Paine had led team brilliantly from the front. He was bang-on in every aspect of the game and gave his full effort behind the stumps. He was also decent with his willow as well.
