Well, it was quite a game of cricket at MCG. There was not only cricket at display but also a lot more than that, as the players of either side used sledging at its best. Meanwhile, Mitchell Johnson, who became a regular headliner in the ongoing series terms the sledging done by Rishabh Pant was quite funny.

Have you ever heard temporary captain – Rishabh Pant to Tim Paine

Rishabh Pant continuously chirped out saying that Tim Paine is the special guest and also a temporary captain. Further, he went on to say adding that Tim Paine is only a talking captain, who doesn’t know how to bat.

“Have you ever heard of a temporary captain, Mayank? Only thing Paine can do is talking, talking,” Pant was caught chirping by the stump microphone. We have got a special guest today. Have you ever heard the word ‘temporary captain?’ You don’t need anything to get him out,” he further added.

Earlier, Tim Paine was also involved in a similar banter where he asked Rishabh Pant to be the Baby Sitter. In fact, not only with Rishabh Pant but also Paine involved in banter with Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

“Tell you what big MS is back in the one-day squad. Should get this bloke down to Hurricanes. They need a batter. Fancy that extends you Aussie holiday, beautiful town Hobart too… get him a waterfront apartment. Have him over for dinner. Do you babysit? I can take my wife to the movies while you watch the kids,” Paine.

Coming to the match status, at stumps on Day 4, Australia scored 258/8 but the bigger picture is India are two wickets away from taking an unassailable 2-1 lead in the ongoing four-match Test series.

Currently, Pat Cummins is at the crease, who scored an unbeaten 61 and was the only Australian to hit a half-century in the ongoing Test. Australia needs 141 to win.
