Australia vs South Africa 2018: Kumar Sangakkara Praises Veteran Dale Steyn

Former Sri Lanka captain, Kumar Sangakkara has praised the South African paceman, Dale Steyn for his excellent contribution in the limited-overs format. Meanwhile, the veteran fast bowler took part in the three-match ODIs against Australia.
However, Dale Steyn was the leading wicket-taker for South Africa in the three-match ODI series against Australia which the Proteas won 2-1.
Moreover, Dale Steyn again showed his class with his bowling figures and also indicated he still can even mix with the youngsters. The fast bowler has claimed seven wickets from the three matches at an average of 13.42.
Dale so far has played 121 ODI matches and has bagged 365 wickets. He also holds a healthy average of 25.70 and has taken three five-wicket hauls in the 50-over format. Moreover, Steyn is hopeful his vast experience would help him earn a place in the side for the 2019 World Cup in England and Wales.
In addition to, Dale Steyn previously said he would love to continue Test cricket even after the 2019 World Cup. Earlier, South Africa was hammered 2-0 by the hosts Sri Lanka. Steyn had a poor tour, as he only managed to pick up two wickets from the two-match Test series.
For the first time after a long time, Dale Steyn was back to his destructive best against the Aussies. He was looking fit, firing and was also bowling fast. The fast bowler got through 27 overs in the series and picked up seven wickets at just 13.42 with an economy rate of 3.48.
Meanwhile, those were some severe encouraging numbers along with Kagiso Rabada and Lungi Ngidi in the wickets column; the Proteas boast a pace attack that is up there with the most dangerous in the world.
