Well, the former Australian cricketer and the ex-head coach Darren Lehmann has his say on the debate over the best between Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar. He picked the current Indian skipper Virat Kohli, as the best in the business. In fact, he termed that Virat – The Run Machine is the best in the world.

The comparison is a thief of joy. But, that is the only way to distinguish the batsman of two different ages. Still, there are other few factors like bouncy pitches, quality opposition bowling, width and breadth of the willows and the grounds make into the scene. But, people always go with numbers. The debate over Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli is the notable headliner.

Virat Kohli is the best in World – Darren Lehmann

The Fox Sports tweeted asking ”Go on, pick one: Sachin Tendulkar or Virat Kohli? Tendulkar, the leading runscorer in Test and one-day cricket? Or Kohli, the man closing in on Tendulkar’s feats? To which, Darren Lehmann replied ”I love Virat Kohli ,best in the world.”

Without any ray of a doubt, we can call them the symbols of two unique eras of cricket. One faced the solid bowling attack with not much technical support and used to carry the whole burden of the team.

While on the other hand, we have got Virat Kohli. He has been pretty consistent on a regular basis despite the game being evolved vastly on a regular basis. Virat has always delivered the goods whenever it is required for the team under immense pressure.

Recently, speaking on comparisons, Sachin Tendulkar quoted that the bowlers of those generations were pretty different compared to the current generation. Further, he doesn’t want anyone to get compared to the other individual, as the game has evolved on a regular basis.

Despite all the records, the fact that always remains intact is that Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar made cricket a religion in India while Virat Kohli inspired young generations to take cricket as a career.
