Babar Azam and KL Rahul are two of the most exciting talents on the international circuit. Both have played phenomenal roles for their respective nations but still have a lot to prove.

Though numbers favour Babar Azam. KL Rahul has been growing as a player and showing consistency at whichever position he has been asked to bat. This comes as an added asset with his wicket-keeping skills.

Former Australian spinner Brad Hogg on Saturday spent his time by conducting an interactive Q&A session with his fans. Not only Hogg, a lot of other cricketers and celebrities have conducted this session in their spare time, as most cricket fans are missing all the action due to the widespread coronavirus pandemic.

After a fan asked, “@Bradd_Hogg Sir… Who is best, babar or Kl Rahul?”

In response, Hogg said, “Hmmm, Babar”.

While a lot of fans opined that Babar Azam is way ahead of KL Rahul and both should not be compared. Their statistic does not shows much of a difference.

Azam averages 45.12 in Tests, 54.17 in ODIs and 50.72 in the shortest format of the game. Rahul, on the other hand, falls marginally short of him in all three formats.

The 27-year-old holds an average of 34.58 in Tests, 47.65 in ODIs and 45.65 in T20Is.
