Former Indian cricketer turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu has faced stern criticism from every quarter due to his presence in Pakistan. It was during the oath-taking ceremony when Imran Khan was appointed as the Prime Minister of the country. Angry over Sidhu, Bajrang Dal has announced a reward of Rs 5 lakhs to the person who can behead the former cricketer and the current cabinet Minister Sidhu.

He also expressed his displeasure at the fact that Sidhu shared hugs with the Pakistani officials. In a video shared by Sanjay Jaat, Bajrang Dal who is the President of the Agra District went viral on social media. In the video he shared, Jaat can be seen showing a cheque of Rs 5 lakhs. He claimed to give it to the person who will behead the former batsman.

Sidhu was present in the oath-taking ceremony where former Pakistan cricket skipper Imran Khan was made the Prime Minister of the Country. It is the first time in history that a former cricketer was made the Prime Minister of the country. Imran had also invited the likes of Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev to be present during the ceremony. Jatt says Navjot Singh Sidhu is a traitor

Jaat further compared Sidhu to a traitor and his act was just unpardonable. He wants the Punjab Congress leader to be slapped with treason charges. Jaat said that the former cricketer has perhaps forgotten the teachings of Sikh Guru Govind Singh.

In the video which was shared by the Bajrang Dal Leader, he said that Sidhu has hurt the sentiments of the country. It is especially for whom some have given their lives. He further added that the people will hurl shoes at Sidhu if he ever tries to visit Agra.

Navjot Singh Sidhu responded to the allegations in a polite manner. He said that he received the invitation from Pakistan about 10 time. It was before seeking permission from the Indian government.
