Windies Cricket team will miss their regular skipper Jason Holder when they square off against Bangladesh in a two-match Test series starting November 22 (Sunday) at Chittagong.

Meanwhile, Windies are coming from the back of a horrendous tour against India across formats. They lost the Test series against India 2-0 as the hosts outclassed the visitors. Furthermore, they will be without their skipper Jason Holder, who was the only one to offer resistance against a quality Indian attack.

Jason Holder had an outstanding time this year in the longer formats of the game averaging 37 with the bat and 12 with the ball in Test cricket. This will be a massive blow for the Windies as Jason Holder has played well spin well in the subcontinent conditions.

Moreover, they have included uncapped wicket-keeper Jahmar Hamilton in the two-match Test series. He represents Leeward Islands in the first-class cricket and averages 27 with the bat. He has impressed for Windies A recently, scoring 100 against England Lions in February.

Kriagg Brathwaite will lead the side in place of Holder and will be a key component in the Test squad. He will have to put runs on the board if Windies have to post heavy scores on the board. Moreover, a lot will depend on the spin duo of Devendra Bishoo and Roston Chase to contain the Bangladesh batting unit.

Windies, however, will look to return home with a series win when they take on Bangladesh in the Test series.

Test squad:

Kraigg Brathwaite (c), Sunil Ambris, Devendra Bishoo, Roston Chase, Shane Dowrich, Shannon Gabriel, Jahmar Hamilton, Shimron Hetmyer, Shai Hope, Shermon Lewis, Keemo Paul, Kieran Powell, Raymon Reifer, Kemar Roach, Jomel Warrican
