The scheduled tour will be Bangladesh’s second tour of India. They had first visited India in 2017 for a solitary Test match. However, the upcoming series is now under big doubt due to the players’ strike. Led by the talismanic Shakib Al Hasan, the players, on Monday, called for a press conference in Dhaka and announced that they will not take part in any cricketing activities unless a 11-point demand made to the cricket board is met.
