BCB President Nazmul Hassan Papon is looking forward to discussing some important things in detail with new BCCI President Sourav Ganguly a day ahead of Sunday’s final showdown. BCB chief himself was there at Arun Jaitley Stadium in the capital city to cheer for his team. Then, he jetted off to Bangladesh due to personal reasons. He will once again pay a visit to India to see his team play the final T20I match in Nagpur.

“When I came back home after the first T20, I promised to back India again for the third T20. As I am going, I will bring the trophy to Bangladesh. Let’s see, prayers of 16 crore Bangladeshi supporters may bring some good news,” BCB President said.

BCB chief will meet BCCI President Sourav Ganguly on November 9, just a day ahead of the third T20I final showdown. The main subject of discussion will be Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and involvement of Indian players in Asia XI against World XI which will be scheduled next month in order to acknowledge the birth anniversary of the father of Bengali nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Nazmul Hasan added that there are certain vital topics and some specific players which needed to be discussed with BCCI President. However, he understands that the Indian players won’t be allowed to play away from India and regarding this, he will be looking forward to talking about the same when he meets Sourav Ganguly. BCB chief reckons that if they can rope in some Indian stars this time around, then it would promote BPL to a great extent.

“There are some important topics and also some specific players which needed to be discussed with Ganguly. They don’t permit their players to go outside India, so I will discuss this fact that whether we can bring some Indian players this time in BPL. If we are able to do this, it will be best for BPL,” BCB chief was quoted as saying by bdcrictime.

Knowing that Pakistan players won’t turn up as they are busy with another tournament, the Bangladesh cricket body wants some players from India to make the league much more entertaining. “Pakistan players won’t able to come because at that time there will be another tournament for them. So we have to depend on the players of Bangladesh, India and Afghanistan. Some spinners from Afghanistan will surely play but to arrange a good team, Indian players are needed obviously,” he added.
