The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) in India has announced the Women ODI squad for the home series against England. In fact, the India Women have named almost a similar squad which had traveled for the tour of New Zealand earlier in the year. The only change in the squad is the omission of all-rounder Dayalan Hemlatha.

Hemlatha had suffered a blow to her shoulder in the second T20I against the Kiwis which had forced her to retire hurt. In fact, Hamlatha had received her maiden call-up to the Indian squad for the series against New Zealand last year. However, she went on to make her debut against the Sri Lankan side.
