The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the India U-19 squad for the forthcoming tour of Sri Lanka.
The Indian Junior team will lock horns against the Islanders in a couple of four-day matches, and five limited-overs encounters.
The biggest news is, however, the inclusion of Sachin Tendulkar’s son in the squad. Arjun Tendulkar got included in the 15-man India U-19 squad for the four-day games. It will be a big moment for the youngster. He is well aware of the fact that he will always have to carry the burden of his father’s name.
However, he has been sensationally trained by the senior Tendulkar. Sachin had never allowed his son to come to the limelight. Instead, he made sure Arjun doesn’t have bare the responsibility of being the son of Sachin Tendulkar.
Arjun has been quite impressive in the recent past. He has excelled in both batting and bowling departments.

Wicket-keeper batsman Anuj Rawat will lead the 15-member four-day squad. He had already made his first-class debut for Delhi last season.
On the other hand, the limited overs squad will be led by Aryan Juyal. He hails from Uttar Pradesh and made his List A debut in the Vijay Hazare Trophy recently.
Meanwhile coming back to Arjun, he was part of the group of 25 cricketers who took part in a month-long camp in Dharamsala in April. Arjun, who is a promising talent, considers Mitchell Starc and Ben Stokes as his role models.
