Once again, Pakistan might be on the wrong side of things in hosting an event at home. They are trying various ways to get back international cricket to Pakistan, but unfortunately, failing to make things happen now and then. Meanwhile, PCB once again received the objection from the BCCI in hosting Asia Cup 2020 at home.

The UAE might host again:

However, it comes to know that the BCCI has asked PCB to host the Asia Cup away from home. Most Probably, it pushes them to shift the venue to their adopted home, the UAE. Meanwhile, it is the same country that hosted Asia Cup 2018 as well.

Officially, Pakistan is claiming their country is safe for cricket, and Asia Cup would be a perfect opportunity for the Asian giants to come together and make it possible. Moreover, unfortunately, it seems like they need to travel once again to host the Asia Cup 2020.

However, with the quality time in the store for Pakistan, they are trying to convince the boards to visit Pakistan. But, it seems like highly impossible, as the Indian team won’t risk the safety of their players, especially, during the ongoing tensions between both nations.

”Playing in Pakistan is out of question and so the hosts have been told to think about an alternative arrangement,” a source told TOI.

Well, it would be interesting to see how things would pan out for Pakistan. As there is no way to sort out things between them, the PCB would certainly see themselves hosting the event away from their country.
