controversial Bollywood figure Kamaal Rashid Khan aka KRK has taken a shot at BCCI after the Indian cricket board dropped MS Dhoni from the central contract list on Thursday. The former India skipper, who was awarded a Grade A contract last time, did not feature in the list of 27 players who received the contracts.

MS Dhoni was not the only player who was dropped from the list. The BCCI also left out Dinesh Karthik, Ambati Rayudu and Khaleel Ahmed from the list. MS Dhoni has not played a competitive game since the end of the World Cup. As soon as the tournament ended, he took a sabbatical from the game and is yet to return to action. He was expected to return to action during the home season but he is yet to play a game.

Chief selectors MSK Prasad then made it clear that the selection panel is unlikely to recall the former captain by saying that he and his colleagues are moving on from the veteran wicketkeeper. Since then, Rishabh Pant has been persisted with in ODIs and T20Is. Recently, India coach Ravi Shastri had said that Dhoni is likely to retire from ODIs but could come into contention for the T20 World Cup in Australia later this year if he does well in the IPL.

With BCCI dropping MS Dhoni from the list, there are many who think that it is all over for him in international cricket and KRK is also one of them. But the outspoken Bollywood critic did not pay any tribute to the former captain and instead decided to slam the BCCI for their treatment of the World Cup-winner.

KRK took to Twitter to state that just like many former players, MS Dhoni has also been thrown out by the BCCI. He also took a sly dig at MS Dhoni for not retiring from the game on his own terms, tweeting:

“Today #BCCI threw out @msdhoni like many other players in the past. I strongly believed that #MSDhoni will retire with dignity and respect unlike all other players. But he followed other players only “Ki Jab Tak Dhakke Markar Nahi Nikaloge, Tab Tak Nahi Nikloonga”! #VerySad!
