Ben Stokes Picks Prithvi Shaw As One Of His Favourite Young Indian Batsmen

The Indian Premier League has always been one of the brilliant platforms to execute skills for the youngsters. In between, it is also the platform for them to sharpen their skills with a lot of International cricketers being available in the dressing room. Meanwhile, the England all-rounder Ben Stokes mightily impressed with Prithvi Shaw.

Prithvi Shaw has played a couple of brilliant knocks for his side in the ongoing edition of the tournament. Recently, he smashed 99 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders and in the game against Royal Challengers Bangalore, he thrashed Tim Southee for four consecutive boundaries.

Sam Billings picked Rishabh Pant:

Meanwhile, Ben Stokes, on Twitter, picked his three favourite Indian youngsters, whom, he would like to watch. He named Prithvi Shaw of Delhi Capitals and Sanju Samson, Rahul Tripathi of Rajasthan Royals in those three players’ chart. In between, the other Englishman Sam Billings replied to Stokes saying that Rishabh Pant is one of them.

Sanju Samson has always been pretty impressive for the team. He is also fresh from scoring a century for the team against one of the toughest bowling attacks in the Indian Premier League, Sunrisers Hyderabad.

On the other hand, Rahul Tripathi has travelled alongside Ben Stokes throughout his IPL career. Initially, they played together for Rising Pune Super Giant. Now, they are playing together for Rajasthan Royals.

On the personal front, so far, Ben Stokes is pretty decent with his skills for the team. However, Rajasthan would like to see firing for them more than what he is offering at the present.

Ben Stokes, who is bowling the death overs and batting in the middle-overs is yet to win a man of the match award to his name. It would be interesting to see how Ben Stokes would approach the remaining part of the tournament for Rajasthan Royals.
