Zimbabwe eventually raised the bar ahead of South Africa and Bangladesh tour after wicketkeeper-batsman Brendan Taylor, Craig Ervine and Sean Williams have returned to Zimbabwean squad.

However, the trio will be available in the One-day International squads for distinct tours. So much so, for the Bangladesh two-match series Test squad.

Moreover, Graeme Cremer and Sikandar Raza were not available for selection for the tri-nation home series in July, this year. They also missed out on the five-match ODI series against Pakistan because of the payment dispute with the Board.

Moreover, Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) has not paid match fees to its players for almost a year before the intervention of the world governing body International Cricket Council (ICC).

After that point, it has led to a strife among some players. However, ICC is working alongside the African Board to bring financial stability.

Brendan Taylor, Craig Ervine, and Sean Williams are back in the squad. Meanwhile, Raza has not been selected for not being handed a contract to him. Recently, Cremer missed the opportunity following a knee surgery.

Furthermore, apart from the three names, Zimbabwean team is strengthened with the return of Solomon Mire and Kyle Jarvis. They have fully regained their fitness and will play for the side.

However, Zimbabwe will travel first to South Africa for a three-match ODI series scheduled from 30 September 2018 in Kimberley.

After that, Zimbabwe will play a three-match T20I series against the South Africa side.

Furthermore, the players will then go to Bangladesh for a three-match ODI series with two Test matches. Hamilton Masakadza will lead his side across formats.
