One of the finest cricketers in the limited-over format, Rohit is yet to cement his place in the Test team even after making his debut five years ago. Although the selectors called him back for the Test series against South Africa, however, failed to retain his place in the Test squad. However, now the selectors have recalled him for the series against Australia.

“Rohit Sharma once again displayed what a power house he is in this format.  I have a feeling his call-up to the Test squad for the Australia tour made him more confident,” Ganguly wrote in his column for The Times of India.
