One just cannot keep Virat Kohli out of the game and the India skipper proved it once again on Sunday with a sensational catch in the ongoing second T20I against West Indies. The 31-year old had played a sensational knock of 94 not out in the first game of the series. He scored his runs off just 50 balls as India chased down a record 208 against the reigning world champions.

He, however, failed to replicate that form in the ongoing game and was out for just 19. To make the matters worse, he was dismissed by none other than Kesrick Williams. Both the players have been engaged in an interesting duel since the first ODI. Kohli had mocked William by replicating his celebration in the first game before the latter gave it back to the India skipper in his own way in the ongoing game.

Kohli, nonetheless, made his presence felt by taking a sensational catch to dismiss Shimron Hetmyer. India were in a desperate need of a wicket as West Indies were cruising in their run chase. They were 112 for 1 while chasing 171 before Kohli’s effort helped India get a much-needed wicket. Hetmyer had hit the full length delivery from Ravindra Jadeja with good force.

The ball was looking to cross the boundary ropes before Kohli decided to do what he does best. He ran across to his right from long-on, stretched his arms and caught the ball with both hands. The momentum saw Kohli slide on the field but he somehow managed to keep himself from touching the boundary ropes.

Here is that catch from Virat Kohli:
