Chennai Super Kings To Release Ambati Rayudu, Kedar Jadhav & Co - Reports

Well, the upcoming season of Indian Premier League set to see helluva of changes for Chennai Super Kings. One of the most successful teams in the Indian Premier League set to release their star players like Kedar Jadhav, Ambati Rayudu, Murali Vijay and few other well-known cricketers of their dugout.

Ambati Rayudu was the star performer for CSK in IPL 2018:

If the reports of My Khel are to be believed, Chennai Super Kings has decided to leave their star performer of 2018 IPL Ambati Rayudu and also their premium batsman Kedar Jadhav. The local kid Murali Vijay also set to go into the auctions, as he performed pretty poorly in the previous couple of seasons, in fact, he isn’t a regular starter in the team as well.

With franchises submitted their final release list on November 14th, the runner-up of the previous season, Chennai Super Kings have chalked out plans to go into the next season with a new set of cricketers. Apart from those star players, the likes of Karn Sharma and Shardul Thakur set to be released by the franchise.

Shardul Thakur, Karn Sharma to make way:

Shardul Thakur leaked runs for the team in the previous season while Karn Sharma hardly gets the chance with Imran Tahir in the lineup. Besides that, the franchise also making a look into the payouts for the respective cricketers.

It is further learnt that Chennai is looking to rebuy the players like Ambati Rayudu and Kedar Jadhav, who might get back into the team for the lesser price to their previous paycheck. Karn Sharma was bought for INR 5 Crores while Shardul Thakur was auctioned for INR 2 Crores.

Likewise, Chennai Super Kings has bought Kedar Jadhav for INR 7.8 Crores. With Kedar being out of the International side and also because of his injuries list, CSK might get back his services for a cheaper price compared to the previous tally. Mostly, they would like to have a new player in place of Murali Vijay, who is facing issues with his form.

Well, it would be interesting to see how things would turn out. All the five players have already created a name to themselves in the shorter format of the game and would be interesting names during the auction time.
