While claiming that the Indian players are involved in doping methods to be fit in time, Chetan Sharma also added that Hardik Pandya’s name has been decided as the next T20I skipper for the national side, with Rohit Sharma no longer going to be a part of the national setup.

“In the T20I format, strong starters like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are given “rest” to give Shubman Gill an opportunity.”

“Hardik Pandya would take over as captain in the long run and that Rohit Sharma would no longer be a part of the T20I setup. I brought in the likes of Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Deepak Hooda, Shubman Gill, and other 15-20 players in the team.”

Hardik Pandya Has Been Long Discussed As India’s T20I Skipper

While the news around Hardik Pandya leading India has been news of the old, claims of Rohit Sharma being excluded from the national T20I setup may come as big news to many.

Rohit has performed well with the bat as of late and his exclusion from the team could mean that the board has lost trust in his captaincy.
