Chris Gayle Lashes Out At Airlines For Delaying Him To Board Flight

One of the toughest things to do for the sportspersons is all about their travelling from place to place. In addition to that, the delay of flights will certainly add frustration to the busiest persons, who value their time a lot. The latest to experience such difficulty is West Indies’ cricketer Chris Gayle, who faced a tough time with Emirates Airlines.

Regarding the same, one of the richest cricketers in the world Chris Gayle lashed out at Emirates Airline on Monday for not allowing him to board a flight despite having a confirmed ticket. Later, the Airlines offered him an economical class ticket, where is booked a business class ticket.

Chris Gayle expressed his disappointment on Twitter saying that he has got the confirmed ticket but still faced the issues with his travelling. Surprisingly, the Emirates Airlines have offered economical class ticket despite Chris Gayle having booked the top-class ticket.

Sharing the incident with the fans, the Windies cricketer wrote: “So disappointed @emirates, I have a confirmed flight and they gonna tell me that they are overbooked, WTF! Not only that, @emirates want me to travel economy when it’s a business class ticket – so now I have to travel on a later flight! Just ridiculous @emirates! Bad experience.

Gayle, who also had played in 103 Tests, had earlier announced that the ICC World Cup in England would be his last international assignment, before revealing a change of plans towards the end of the marquee tournament.

Later, the flamboyant batsman appeared in the series against Indian National Cricket Team back home. Though he failed in the first couple of games, he made sure to show his taste by smoking 72 runs at a blistering strike rate. It was felt that would be his last game but the legendary cricketer is yet to decide on his future. Meanwhile, he failed to attract any buyer in the recently concluded auction for ”The Hundred”.
