The IPL 2020 auction in Kolkata got off to a terrific start with Aussies setting the mega event on fire. Chris Lynn who set his highest reserve price at ₹2 crores became the first player to go under the hammer for his highest reserve price. Chris Lynn who was released by Kolkata Knight Riders ahead of the auction will soon begin his new chapter with four-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians for the upcoming season.

Lynn’s attacking philosophy at the top of the order with a massive career strike rate of 141.12 is certain to provide a boost to Mumbai Indians’ chances of defending the title. The right-handed opener is a terrific hitter of the cricket ball. He first hogged the limelight when he scored 295 runs at an impeccable strike rate of 180.98 in the 2017 edition of the world’s premier tournament.
