Just like his batting, Gautam Gambhir plays straight and clear with his mouth too. The former India opener, known for his no-nonsense approach, rarely beats around the bush or shies away from speaking his mind out especially when it comes to backing the soldiers. Time and again, Gambhir has shown that he is one of the biggest supporters of the Indian security forces and he is showing it again.

The whole of India is mourning the deadly terrorist attack on CRPF personnel on Thursday. In one of the deadliest terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir’s three decades of militancy, a suicide bomber from the Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into a CRPF bus in Pulwama district, killing at least 40 personnel and leaving many critically wounded.

The bus was on the Srinagar-Jammu highway in Lethpora town, about 30 km from Srinagar when the attack took place. The entire nation is in a state of shock as well as furious following the gruesome attack. The whole of India is condemning the attack and paying tribute to the fallen brave souls. The cricketing fratnerity has also come forward to pay tribute to the martyrs. The likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir and others have expressed their grief over the inhumane incident.

India, nonetheless, have started taking drastic actions against Pakistan. On Saturday, the Government of India withdrew the ‘Most Favoured Nation’ status it had bestowed to Pakistan in the year 1996. However, Gautam Gambhir wants Pakistan to have the ‘MFN’ status but said that the civilians should now decide what the ‘F’ stands for.

“I have some news for Pakistan. We should continue their ‘MFN’ status. Only thing is, that this time we the civilians will decide what ‘F’ stands for,” Gautam Gambhir tweeted.
