Yes…! It is again Trinbago Knight Riders, who bagged the Caribbean Premier League Championship. They thumped Guyana Amazon Warriors in the final of the tournament by eight wickets to lift the CPL 2018 championship with graceful faces.

The excellent batting display by Colin Munro and the collective bowling effort from the team helped the team win the game convincingly. It was also well led by Dwayne Bravo, who used his bowlers to the perfection in an all-important clash.

Guyana Amazon Warriors managed 149 on the board:

In a grand clash, Trinbago Knight Riders got the privilege of winning the toss and without a second thought went for chasing. Justifying the decision, their bowler Ali Khan got the wicket right on the first ball of the innings.

Unlike his own, Luke Ronchi played 35 balls for his 44 runs so did Jason Mohammed, who scored 24 runs off 23 balls. However, the lower-order efforts helped the team to post a score close to 150-mark.

Khary Pierre is the wrecker-in-chief with three wickets to his name while Dwayne Bravo grabbed a couple of wickets. Meanwhile, Fawad Ahmed, Ali Khan and Sunil Narine played their part by picking each to their name.

Colin Munro knocks Trinbago Knight Riders to victory:

In reply to the chase, there were no sorts of bother for the team. Their openers, Dinesh Ramdin and Brendon McCullum, paired up for 52 runs which were followed by Colin Munro’s unbeaten 39-ball 68*.

However, it was a clinical victory for Trinbago Knight Riders to bag the title for the second time in a row. Meanwhile, the skipper Dwayne Bravo finished the tournament by quoting his team deserves to win the trophy for the quality they had.
