Yuvraj Singh – The prince of Indian Cricket:

Yuvraj Singh has got some mind-boggling stats in his kitty, which is something every cricketer would dream of. Even the legendary personalities of the game failed to do what Yuvraj Singh had done during his peak stage of the career.

The left-handed batsman was awarded man of the series in 2007 and 2011 ICC World Cups and also, the only person to collect those awards, including a man of the series in the U19 world cup. Just when things are going magically, an unfortunate cancer disease struck him. It killed glorious years of his cricketing career.

The post-retirement phase in Yuvraj’s career was arguably the toughest one. The southpaw kept knocking the doors of the Indian team for a spot but wasn’t entertained despite proving his fitness in the much-talked-about Yo-Yo test.

Since hanging up his boots, Yuvraj is enjoying franchise cricket outside the country, with the Global T20 League in Canada and the Abu Dhabi T10 League being two of his most recent assignments. Greeting the southpaw on his special day, Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh and several other cricketers hailed the former cricketer on social media.
