India’s former captain Rahul Dravid is celebrating his 46th birthday today. The Wall, as he was famously known during his playing days, received birthday greetings across the globe. The former players took to Twitter account to wish Dravid on his special day. However, interestingly, the players will not get any reply as there is no official account of Dravid on any social media platforms.

Meanwhile, Dravid always played the game in the right spirit. In fact, he was the perfect epitome of the gentleman’s game. Dravid always tried to bring his best to the table.

Rahul Dravid has done a fine job.

On the other hand, Dravid was a big team man. He never said no to a team cause, even if he had to go out of his comfort zone. In fact, Dravid always took it as a challenge to help the team in dire states.

He was asked to open, and even do wicketkeeping and he was able to justify his role on every occasion. Furthermore, Rahul Dravid was a brilliant Test player who was able to make the most of his skills.

Furthermore, Rahul Dravid also led India with aplomb. He was able to take India to a Test series triumph in England in 2007 and the team also levelled the series while playing in South Africa under Dravid’s leadership.

Subsequently, Dravid is also able to give it back to the sport in style. He is the coach of Under-19 and India A side and has helped India churn out the new generations of players. The India Under-19 side was able to clinch the World Cup in 2018 and it was a fine feather in the cap of Rahul Dravid.

Dravid was one of the most respected players in the game and has done a fine job in all the departments. The Wall has helped in growing the new plants in Indian cricket and has watered them to blossom them like a star. Furthermore, Dravid was also inducted into the ICC Hall of fame recently.

Here is how Cricketers wished Dravid on his birthday:
