Danish Kaneria Lauds Hardik Pandya For Giving His Man Of The Series Trophy To T Natarajan

Former Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria has praised India allrounder Hardik Pandya for handing his Man of the Series trophy to T Natarajan. Pandya was adjudged the Man of the Series after starring with the bat in the recently-concluded three-match T20I series against Australia.

His performance helped India win the series 2-1 after losing the ODI series. Pandya had impressed in the ODI series too by playing knocks of 90 and 92. But at the end of the third T20I, he was seen handing his Man of the Series trophy to Natarajan who made his ODI and T20I debut during the Australia tour.

On his ODI debut, he picked up two wickets. He finished the T20I series with an impressive 6 wickets from three games. The Tamil Nadu star’s best performance came during the second T20I. In a game where both the teams scored over 190, T Natarajan conceded just 20 runs while taking two wickets in four overs. Later, Hardik Pandya also took to Twitter to praise the pacer and wrote:

“Natarajan, you were outstanding this series. To perform brilliantly in difficult conditions on your India debut speaks volumes of your talent and hardwork Clapping hands sign You deserve Man of the Series from my side bhai! Congratulations to #TeamIndia on the win.”

Pandya has been receiving praise from several quarters for his gesture and Danish Kaneria has also lauded the India star. Not only that, Danish Kaneria also took a dig at his compatriots and called them selfish as he tweeted:

“Great Pic can not be better, #HardikPandya wins the hearts winning the man of the series but gives to Natarjan ,youngster must be delighted and motivated.hamaray Kisi player ney ahsa Kia khabi sub apna sochthay hai (sic).”
