David Warner, Sunrisers Hyderabad Captain, has always been quite active on social media but with the world currently under lockdown, his presence across all social media platforms has increased substantially.

The onslaught of coronavirus (COVID-19) had put the entire world under a lockdown. And cricketers from all around the world are using this time to engage with their fellow mates via Instagram Live sessions.

The duo chatted up a storm on a plethora of issues ranging from their individual careers to naming the best dancer and the most annoying teammate at Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar asked his captain about who would he select as his dance teacher from the Sunrisers Hyderabad outfit.

“If you have to select your dance teacher from SRH – who would you pick?,” Bhuvneshwar asked Warner.

Khaleel Ahmed had been a topic of conversation in Warner’s recent chat with Jonny Bairstow, and the Aussie opener said that they had a ban on taking Khaleel’s name since he props up in almost every conversation.

“We had a ban on saying Khaleel’s name last night when I was speaking to Bairstow. Because he comes up in everything – who dances, who looks himself in the mirror, who thinks they have the best style, who posts the most on Instagram.” David Warner replied.

Bhuvneshwar then followed it up with another question- “And who is the most annoying, is it Khaleel?”

” Oh, man! I have never met someone who just ignores you all the time. ‘Khaleel, you have to be downstairs at 9 o’clock’. ‘Okay, no problems’. At 9:15, Khaleel walks in and goes, ‘good morning, guys’!” Warner said.

David Warner was set to resume his leadership duties in the 13th edition of the IPL. The 2016-IPL winning captain was replaced by Kane Williamson post his ball-tampering ban back in 2018. But the southpaw returned in blazing fashion last year and was renamed as captain ahead of the 2020 edition, which has now been postponed for an indefinite period of time thanks to COVID-19.
