Disgraced Australian vice-captain, David Warner, took to photo-blogging website Instagram – to post a heartwarming message on in order to console his wife, Candice Warner, who recently disclosed her miscarriage after the entire ball-tampering fiasco unfolded in Cape Town.

Australian leadership group featuring Steven Smith and Warner conceded to the shenanigans during the Cape Town Test match of the South African tour earlier this year.

As a result, Warner, Smith and besieged ball-tamperer Cameron Bancroft received bans from Cricket Australia (CA) along with hefty fines.

However, the entire outrage and public humiliation for Warner’s family was too much to take for wife Candice. Therefore, the former Ironwoman suffered a miscarriage during the tour.

When you’re living the dream you must enjoy every moment of it regardless of the highs and lows. We as a family have been through one of the toughest times ever the last few months but nothing will ever stop us from being just us,” posted the flamboyant Aussie opener.

The emotional message from Warner for his beloved has already won hearts.

My wife my rock has endured pain, disappointment, regrets in her past and so many highs and lows but the courage. Candice has shown in recent months is a testament to the qualities she has as a mother, person, friend, and wife,” captioned Warner’s post stated.

While speaking to a popular magazine, Candice claimed that they had been trying for their third kid for quite a while, before touching down in South Africa.

However, the couple soon realised they were expecting another child.

I was beginning to feel that first stage of being pregnant – the subtle changes to my body was kicking in. We were overwhelmed, knowing another little Warner was on the way,” Candice told Women’s Weekly.

Candice went on to blame the Sandpaper-Gate as the reason for the miscarriage.

I called Dave to the bathroom and told him I was bleeding. We knew I was miscarrying. We held one another and cried…The miscarriage was a heartbreaking end to a horror tour. The ordeal from the public humiliations to the ball tapering had taken its toll,” continued Candice.

The Test match at Durban will be remembered for the infamous Stairwell incident, where the CCTV footage revealed Warner and Quinton de Kock giving each other mouthful.

It was later revealed that the South African wicket-keeper batsman de Kock engaged in personal attacks on David Warner regarding his wife and the famous Toilet Tryst with a famous sportsperson.

I never want to do a ‘poor me’ story or anything like that whatsoever. But Dave would come home from the game. And, see me in tears in the bedroom, and the girls just looking at their mum. It’s been heartbreaking,” concluded Candice.
