Dean Jones Replies After Fan Asks Him About His Daughter's Relationship Status

Social media has brought the fans closer to their beloved cricket stars more than ever. The platforms have given the cricketers and the fans an opportunity to interact with each other on daily basis. Social media also gives the fans an opportunity to ask the cricketers some really weird, personal or funny questions.

Well, something similar happened with Dean Jones recently. The former Australia batsman is one of the most active cricketers on Twitter. He interacts with the fans on a regular basis and is undoubtedly very popular among the fans. Amid the ongoing lockdown due to the COVID-19 crisis, Dean Jones has also been conducting Q/A sessions on a regular basis.

On Sunday (April 12), Dean Jones took to his official Twitter handle to share the news of his daughter Augusta’s birthday. While wishing his young daughter, Jones wrote, “Happy birthday to my beautiful daughter Augusta”, along with a kissing and few birthday cake emoticons.

Most of the fans were quick to wish Dean Jones’ daughter a happy birthday before one of them hilariously asked the ex-cricketer whether his daughter is single. And to everyone’s surprise, Dean Jones decided to respond to it. The user must be delighted with the 59-year old’s decision but would have been surely disappointed to know the answer.

Meanwhile, Jones was last seen in action in Pakistan for the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He served as the head coach of Karachi Kings, who made it to the semi-finals along with Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans before the coronavirus pandemic led to the postponement of the remaining fixtures.
