Defending 175 runs, India’s bowling duo of Deepak Chahar and Shivam Dube helped the host secure a series win from 0-1 down. Chahar registered the best ever T20I figures – six for seven while Dube returned with three scalps. The fast bowler from Rajasthan also became the first-ever Indian to pick a hattrick in the shortest format of the game.
As a result, Deepak Chahar has moved up 88 slots to 42nd position but the slow bowlers continue to lead the list. The top-five and eight of the top nine are spinners, with Mitchell Santner reaching second place – his best position since he topped the table in January 2018. Rashid Khan continues to lead the chart.

In the batting chart, England’s Dawid Malan has made a grand re-entry. He occupied the third spot in the batsmen’s list led by Pakistan’s Babar Azam, while Aaron Finch of Australia has taken the second spot after gaining two positions. Malan returned with 458 runs including a century stand 94 points less than table-topper Babar.
England captain Eoin Morgan and New Zealand opener Martin Guptill have also made notable movements to take joint ninth place. Bangladesh batsman Mohammad Naim’s 143 runs in three matches see him at the joint-38th position along with Jonny Bairstow.
In the Team Rankings, Pakistan continue at the top with 270 points but Australia are only one point behind them after winning their three-match series 2-0. India occupy the fifth spot with 262 points – three less than fourth-placed South Africa.
