Delhi skipper and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) all-rounder Nitish Rana has tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Saachi Marwah, earlier today. Meanwhile, a range of his teammates from Delhi including Rishabh Pant and Unmukt Chand attended his cocktail party on February 18 (Monday).

Nitish Rana took over the leadership baton of Delhi after Gautam Gambhir decided to step down last year. Although he is currently going through a bad patch, he has enjoyed a good first-class career so far. He averages over 40 in the 30 games he has played so far scoring 1765 runs including four centuries.

Rana made his List A and T20 debuts for Delhi in the 2012-13 season but played his first Ranji Trophy match only in the 2015-16 season. He had an impressive debut first-class season. He ran out Wasim Jaffer for a duck and made a half-century on debut against Vidarbha and finished the season as Delhi’s highest run-getter, with 557 runs at 50.63, including a century and three fifties.

Last year, he had a great season with Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL scoring runs in the middle-order. He scored 304 runs from 15 games at a good strike-rate and will be a valuable player for KKR in IPL 2019. However, right before another exciting edition of IPL, Nitish Rana is all set to marry his love Saachi Marwah. Saachi is an architectural designer based in Delhi.

Yesterday, they held their cocktail party, and many of Rana’s teammates graced the occasion. Unmukt Chand, who was also one of the invitees took to Instagram to divulge the news of Nitish getting hitched. He posted a few pictures and congratulated the couple on their new journey.

Love to see the boys getting married! #fewmorehourstogo#onemoredown ?
Congratulations @nitishrana_official@velvet.coke #cocktail #stayblessed,” Unmukt Chand wrote on Instagram.
