Dinesh Karthik Spotted In Trinbago Knight Riders’ Dressing Room in CPL
Dinesh Karthik, captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL, was recently spotted in the dressing room of Trinbago Knight Riders, who ply their trade in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The Red Chilies Entertainment and Knight Riders Sports Pvt, who own Kolkata also own the franchise in the CPL.
Meanwhile, Karthik was not a part of the limited-overs set up in the West Indies after the World Cup. He had a poor outing in the premier tournament and selectors decided to bring in some new face. Thus, they went for Manish Pandey and Shreyas Iyer in the middle-order. It seems like the end of the road for Dinesh Karthik.
Despite his poor run in the international circuit, Karthik has gone from strength to strength in the IPL. He has rich experiences in the IPL and has played for various franchises. The veteran wicket-keeper batsman has taken over the leadership role of Kolkata Knight Riders after Gautam Gambhir stepped down.
Dinesh Karthik has been a massive success in the Kolkata outfit taking his side to the playoffs and missing the last season by a whisker. He has led the team from the front and stepped in crisis situations to do the job for his side. Karthik moulded a young team to bring out the best of them and backed them even in failures.

Recently, the cricketer was spotted having fun in the Trinbago Knight Riders dressing room. Trinbago made a winning start to their campaign beating St Kitts and Nevis Patriots by 11 runs. Skipper Keiron Pollard starred with the bat while Mohammad Hasnain and James Neesham led the side with the ball.
It is most likely that Dinesh Karthik was in the dressing room to share his technical acumen with the young West Indies players. With no cricketing commitments now, he was sitting and having a chat with their head coach, Brendon McCullum. Notably, McCullum has also taken over Kolkata Knight Riders as the head coach from the next season.
