Team India bowlers did an outstanding job on the morning session of day four of the third of the five-match Test series against England at Trent Bridge.
Meanwhile, with 498 runs to win, Indian seamers started the day well banking on Ishant Sharma. The overnight English batsmen couldn’t add much as Keaton Jennings departed early on. The tall and lanky fast bowler looked on song from the first ball of the day and it was only coming.
Jennings edged one short-pitched delivery with nipped away a little to the safe hands of Rishabh Pant. It was not too long when Sharma struck back this time to remove another southpaw, Alastair Cook. Ishant comes round the wicket to bowl a short pitch delivery outside off, with a hint of away movement, he jabs the defence and KL Rahul grabs a simple one at Trent Bridge.
Since then, Joe Root and Ollie Pope looked for England but India has sensed something different. Virat Kohli rotated his bowlers well and this time was Jasprit Bumrah who removed the English skipper. With the departure of Root, there were dark clouds on England’s future in this Test.
However, much to their dismay, India struck again and this time it was Mohammed Shami who removed the young Pope. A full pitch delivery from Shami sucked Ollie Pope into the square drive, he couldn’t keep it down, and the edge was flying at pace towards the third slip cordon. Virat Kohli dived to his right to grab a blinder and was extremely delighted with his effort. Furthermore, it was one of his best catches at the slip till date.
Since then, Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes see off any further damage and England went to lunch at for 4. Jos Buttler played some good shots and England will rely on him to take them close to the score.

24 Test innings for Joe Root without a hundred… And last time scored a hundred when Powell & Duminy dropped him

That was utter junk from Joe Root. He's looked oddly out of sorts with the bat in this Test. #EngvInd

Indian fast bowlers bowling faster than English pacers. Indian slip catching better than England’s. Tide has turned…and how. ?? #EngvInd

Joe Root's 29 runs in this Test are the least runs scored by him since July, 2016 in a Test match in which he batted in both the innings. He played 29 Tests in between.#ENGvIND

Rishabh Pant is the first Indian WK to effect six dismissals on Test debut.
Naren Tamhane, Kiran More, Nayan Mongia & Naman Ojha all effected five dismissals each. #ENGvIND— Deepu Narayanan (@deeputalks) August 21, 2018
Most wickets by Asian bowlers outside Asia since 2014
Ishant Sharma – 65* @ 28.46
M Shami – 63 @ 32.50
Yasir Shah – 52 @ 39.53
M Amir – 49 @ 29.89
Herath – 48 @ 36.25#ENGvIND— JSK (@imjsk27) August 21, 2018
KL Rahul should play just for his slip catching. Seems most reliable slip fielder apart from Ajinkya Rahane. #EngvInd

England captain Joe Root said..
It was the toughest decision to take that who should be picked to play 3 rd test.
Stokes, Worked or Curran..
And surprisingly, they are going to have one of their biggest defeat in test history..
Life is cruel sometimes..
