England vs India 2018, 4th Test: It Would Be an Exciting Test Match - Gautam Gambhir

The veteran Indian opener Gautam Gambhir is very excited for the fourth Test in Southampton. The southpaw feels that India has got an excellent chance to change the scenario to 2-2 – to bring an epic fifth Test at The Oval in London against England.

With the series scoreline reading 2-1, as an Indian, it would surely be an exciting match at The Rose Bowl in Southampton, according to Gambhir. He furtherly spoke about the batting department as well.

The stylish southpaw remarked it would be interesting to watch the game at Southampton. Moreover, he felt that England batsman would be wary of Indian bowling attack. Gambhir also mentioned the middle-order vows for England.

Gambhir urges Indian batsmen to come good again in the fourth Test to take the dominating position alongside giving something for the bowlers to defend themselves.

Gambhir finished asking the batsmen to post over 300 and then provide assistance for bowlers.

“For the 4th Test, with England winning 2 and India sealing the last match, it is going to be an exciting Test match. England batting attack will wary of Indian bowling after the vulnerable show. Addition of Bumrah also made Indian bowling strong. All in all, it is going to be an exciting match at Southampton,” Gambhir told Times of India.

“Indian batsmen failed in first two Tests. It is only in 3rd Test when they scored 300+. I hope batsmen carry it in the 4th Test to give bowlers something. With India carrying the momentum and England being strong at home, it would be an exciting contest to watch,” Gambhir stated.

England leads the series 2-1:

Currently, the five-match Test series is in the hands of the hosts Three Lions. They are leading the series with two victories while the visitors bagged one match to their name. The fourth test at The Rose Bowl will open the lock for many intrigues.
