It doesn’t matter how well India had batted or bowled, but excellent performance in the slip cordon is always a pleasing sight for Indian spectators. Of late, India had a problem with slip catching but the Karnataka youngster, KL Rahul had made merry moments in the Trent Bridge Test at slips.

The stylish right-handed batsman caught all the balls which came his way during the third Test match against England. Despite taking the crucial catches, the celebrations that followed are making the headlines across the globe.

The classy KL Rahul has always shown his football side on the cricketing field. He enacted the football celebrations on it as well. Recently, he exchanged IPL jersey with Hardik Pandya and then, did ”Dab celebration” as well.

KL Rahul who is having a great time at slips caught Joe Root off Jasprit Bumrah bowling. As soon as he picked the catch, he ran across the field with a Dele Alli’s style of celebration.

The weird positioning of the fingers over Alli’s eye and forehead sparked curiosity, and soon everyone started to emulate the celebration. The Indian cricketer KL Rahul also joins the list. However, he did it better than a lot as well.

KL Rahul’s performance:

The Karnataka youngster got back to his favourite opening position. In both the innings, he started the things pretty dominatingly but failed to convert into a big knock. His tour to England with the bat hasn’t gone well as far as Tests are concerned.

However, he cemented his place for the next Test with his exceptional catching at slip cordon. Personally, KL Rahul would be eyeing to deliver a big knock in the coming two games of the series.
