Former Australia fast bowler Glenn McGrath expresses by the statement that what would have been his plan for Virat Kohli.

Meanwhile, India lost the five-match Test series against England. They lost the Southampton Test by 60 runs wherein England sealed the deal.

Virat Kolhi has been sensational throughout the series. So far, he has scored 544 runs in just eight innings and is the leading run-scorer as well. The India captain scored two massive centuries and three half-centuries wherein he fell short three runs of his hundred in the first innings of the third Test.

India had only managed to win the third Test match by 203 runs in Nottingham.

However, India lost the first Test match by 31 runs following another loss in the second one by an innings and 159 runs at the Lord’s. Virat Kohli and Co will be keen to win the last Test at the Kennington Oval against England.

Meanwhile, there might be some changes in the team while Prithvi Shaw might get called in as an opener. However, Virat Kohli will expect some good show from the batting side. The bowlers did some fabulous job throughout the series picking up wickets as and when required.

Glenn McGrath said it is tough to plan regarding Virat Kohli. However, it will need enough balls to place in the right area and the field set up should also be in the right place. The bowlers need to create pressure on Virat Kohli to that he can take a wrong decision to do something out of the way.

Glenn McGrath also added there is no weakness of Virat Kohli but all it needs to do is the build-up pressure and not allowing him to score runs.

“It is tough. You just have to get enough balls in the right area and have the field set so that there is no easy runs, just keep the pressure on him the whole time. There is no obvious weakness there. It is just about building pressure, not allowing him to score runs and hope he makes a mistake.” Glenn McGrath said.

India will play the last Test of the five-match series against England on September 7, 2018, at The Kennington Oval.
