Eoin Morgan Is The Best Captain I Have Played Under - Moeen Ali

England all-rounder Moeen Ali has stated that current English limited-overs captain Eoin Morgan is the best captain he has played under. Ali has the experience of playing under different England skippers but he believes Morgan is the best amongst them. Eoin Morgan had also become the first English captain to lead England to World Cup glory.

Meanwhile, Eoin Morgan has led from the front. England was knocked out in the early stages of the 2015 World Cup. However, it was Morgan who was able to turn the tables in the four years. England showcased a fearless brand of cricket and they dominated in the limited-overs format.

Morgan has done wonders for England.

Thus, Eoin Morgan-led England is currently at the numero uno position in the ICC ODI rankings. Furthermore, all the other players have contributed in the best possible way.

Moeen Ali said while talking to the IANS, “Morgan is definitely the best captain that I have played under. He is very calm, his man-management skills are amazing. He is a great guy and all the players love him.”

On the other hand, Moeen Ali was also retained by Royal Challengers Bangalore for IPL 2020. In fact, Ali is one of the two players who have been retained by the franchise. Meanwhile, Moeen Ali is currently playing in Abu Dhabi T10 league for team Abu Dhabi.

Moeen Ali also backed Australia’s all-rounder Glenn Maxwell who took an indefinite break from the game due to mental health.

“I had a break but it wasn’t for mental reasons. I took the break because I felt tired. There’s so much cricket played at the moment. Mentally, you become tired. You feel drained up doing the same warm-up and other things while playing the game,” Moeen added.

Moeen Ali has made himself unavailable for the ongoing New Zealand tour. Furthermore, he would not be part of the series against South Africa.
