Fans Troll KL Rahul For Posting 'Chilling' Pic On Twitter
Updated - 02 Oct 2019, 03:09 PM
Things are pretty much falling apart for KL Rahul since the last few days. He is having a tough time not only on the field but also off it. The right-handed batsman recently lost his place in the Test team for the upcoming series against South Africa at home. KL Rahul received the setback after his horrific performance in Tests in the last one year or so.
It is now safe to say that Rahul has finally gone out of favour for the Tests and is heading in the same direction in white-ball formats too. On the tour of West Indies, he played only one T20I and featured in only game against South Africa too. His form in Test has been nothing less than terrible in recent times.

Since the start of 2018, Rahul has averaged 22.23 across 15 Test matches, scoring one hundred, against England at The Oval, and one fifty, against Afghanistan in Bengaluru. His career average, which stood at 44.62 before this lean run slumped to 34.58 before he was dropped. And the fans are making his life difficult off the pitch too by constantly trolling him on social media.
On Monday, Rahul faced some more trolling from the fans on Twitter. It all started when he posted a picture on his official Twitter handle where he was ‘chilling’ in a ‘cryogenic chamber’- a therapy that requires one to get inside a cylinder filled with liquid nitrogen. He captioned the image, ‘literally chilling’.
