Pakistan cricketer Fawad Alam broke the window panes after gettting out in an unusual manner in a Lancashire League game between Clitheroe Cricket Club 1st XI and Colne Cricket Club.

Meanwhile, the all-rounder departed ‘timed out’ against the Colne Circket Club. It occurs when an incoming batsman is not ready to play within three minutes of the previous batsman being out.

The Clitheroe Cricket Club signed Fawad earlier this year as their overseas professional player. He had played an important role for the Club in the last season of Lancashire League.

However, after his stellar performance in 2017, the club management offered him to comeback in 2018. Fawad agreed to it especially after Pakistan national team selectors overlooked him.

The frustrated Fawd broke the window glass after getting out in an unusual fashion. Clitheroe lost their opener Thomas Lord for 19 runs and immediately lost another batsman.

However, their next batsman Alam took more than the stipulated time to come out on the field. The umpires adjudged him ‘timed out’ after waiting for the specific time.

A fan posted the picture of the broken glass along with the event.
