Former Australia Cricketer Shaun Tait Picks His Favourite Bowler in the World

Former Australian Cricket team fast bowler Shaun Tait has picked Indian National Cricket team’s Jasprit Bumrah and Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan as the two best bowlers in the world currently.

Meanwhile, Tait is currently playing a tour guide with the 2019 ICC World Cup around his own city Adelaide in Australia. The illustrious trophy is currently on a world tour powered by their title sponsor Nissan as they aim to take the trophy to all part of the world. As a part of the campaign, Shaun Tait also took part in a question-answer session for the Cricket World Cup’s Instagram handle.

Bumrah and Rashid are the best

The express fast bowler, when asked who is the best bowler in the world, tipped Jasprit Bumrah and Rashid Khan as the world’s best. The duo, however, has done a tremendous job over a year or so for the respective teams they have played for. Bumrah has grown as one of the finest despite his awkward actions since he made his debut. He made his Test debut last year and finished with 49 wickets in his debut Test year. Moreover, he finished as the highest wicket-taker in the Border-Gavaskar series with 21 wickets along with Nathan Lyon.

On the other hand, Rashid Khan has weaved his magic wherever he has played. He is currently the top-ranked T20I bowler and is the most sought after in the business. Currently, Rashid is plying his trade in the Big Bash League and also earned accolades as he decided to play despite losing his father.

Shan Tait also predicted that India’s vice-captain Rohit Sharma and New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson to finish as the highest run-scorer in the 2019 ICC World Cup. The duo have been top limited-overs players, and all eyes will be on them during the mega event in England and Wales.
