Former Pakistan Cricket team skipper Wasim Akram has urged the authorities of both India and Pakistan not to engage in war and they need more brother in arms at this hour. Meanwhile, the situation has worsened after the recent Pulwama attack.
The attack has created a stir countrywide as a Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) rammed an explosives-laden car into a CRPF bus, killing at least 40 personnel and leaving many critically wounded. On the back of it, India have cut several ties with the neighbouring country. Moreover, there have been calls for India boycotting Pakistan tie in the ICC World Cup in England and Wales. However, many former cricketers also have stood against it saying that it will be detrimental for India.
India retaliates
In retaliation to the terror attack, today morning, Indian Air Force aircraft had violated the Line of Control in the Muzaffarabad sector to bomb terror camps. Pakistan claimed that the aircraft returned after its Air Force immediately scrambled, and they had dropped payload in haste while escaping. However, eye witness claims that no people have died during the attack leaving only one people wounded. He also added that few trees and carters suffered damage from the bomb. Pakistan also retaliated back earlier today in Kashmir which forced both the countries to stop air transport in few cities.
“With my heavy heart I appeal to yours, India,Pakistan is not your enemy, Your enemy is our enemy! How much more blood needs to be spilled before we realise we are both fighting the same battle. We need brothers in arm if we want to beat this war on terror
#TogetherWeWin#NoToWar,” Wasim Akram tweeted.
