Team India international Gautam Gambhir recently expressed his concern over the growing pollution in the state capital and accused the Aam Admi Party of making false promises.
Meanwhile, Gambhir has been vocal about various social issues since he joined his Twitter. The southpaw is profoundly known for his two match-winning knocks which helped India two ICC trophies under the leadership of MS Dhoni. Gautam Gambhir has been one of the most underrated cricketers in the modern era. With the emergence of young openers, he has lost his place in the side.
With winter just starting to set in Delhi, there has been a considerable rise in its pollution in the last few days. Understanding the urgency and immediacy of the situation, Gautam Gambhir through a tweet has expressed his concern regarding the same. Also, in the process, he has taken a dig at Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party and has held them responsible for the situation that the capital city of the country finds itself in.
Gautam Gambhir concerned about the rising pollution
The dashing cricketer from Delhi questionned the current regime of Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Admi Party. Delhi has been facing severe pollution issues for the past few years, and the situation is worsening drastically.
Gambhir also accused that our generations are growing in smoke and the fake promises made by the AAP government.
“दर्दे दिल, दर्दे जिगर दिल्ली में जगाया AAP ने, पहले तो यहाँ Oxygen था, Oxygen भगाया AAP ने।” @ArvindKejriwal @AamAadmiParty our generations are going up in smoke like your false promises. U had 1 full year to tame dengue &pollution, sadly you couldn’t control either. Wake up!!!” the tweet read.
